My partner came with me to the grocery store yesterday and was absolutely baffled that, not only does every employee recognize me visually, but that over half of them know my name without prompting. I’m literally just nice to them and they say I’m their favorite customer.

I always thought the whole “we’re making a slur for AI and calling them clankers” was stupid. I just applied to a job and received a call from a “virtual ai recruiter” almost immediately. After the discussion… Fuckin clankers man

Don’t bring in an experienced developer as a consultant to make sure your little horse game actually gets developed and then disregard literally everything they say because “coding isnt that hard”. Especially when your entire team is JUST artists who’ve never touched an IDE in their life.
