#rustyrambles Thorquill stuff where Quill puts on a bit of weight and at first isn't too worried about it. Being softer wan't a bad thing he kept telling himself and he could always work it off to get his fit and 'perfect' body back.

Even if his team liked to poke fun at him getting soft it only would serve to motivate him to lose it, it was his goal at the very least to look more presentable even if his partner, Thor, only said good things about his new softer body he still wanted to get back into shape.

It only started to go downhill and be more of an issue when that little bit of weight turned into a lot of weight, slowly plumping up to hitting 450 lbs and he was slightly annoyed by it. It made getting around his ship harder, how he would accidently knock things over from how wide he was,

his chair hugging him tightly and needing to get a bigger one the next time they had the chance and even more teasing from some of his team. At first he could handle it but now it just had him rolling his eyes cause he didn't exactly choose to gain all the weight,

it all just started to pile on quickly from developing a stress eating habit and food quickly becoming a comfort for himself from out of nowhere it felt like. Even if he wanted to stop, he would get hungry and not want to deal with his stomach aching and give in to go eat his fill.

Yet even at the end of the day he didn't hate his new weight, he appreciated his new curves slowly no thanks to the god of thunder constantly whispering soft praise into his ears. Light grabs at his love handles full of love and care,

when cuddling in bed letting his hands roam the expansive and softer skin of him, mapping out each roll and crease as if he were to memorize it. Never laugh at him for his weight but with him in merriment, it made it easier to accept the weight along with Thor himself getting softer as well with him

Call it relationship weight or comfort weight, neither really cared cause they melded together no matter what and the extra weight just let them love each other more with more to love on the other.

the concept of characters with specific regeneration abilities never being able to lose the weight they gain like some, the stuff they regenerate just goes back to how it was before, pre gain/when the ability was obtained some can't gain weight or muscle due to their regen
