she’s still very scared, she stays hidden under the cat tree most of the time even in her own private room and still hisses when I first walk in, but she purrs when I pet her, meows for more pets and reaches for my hand, shows me her belly, and even willingly fully comes out in the open eventually 🥹

here’s your quick little breath of positivity for today: one of the things he asked us yesterday was “do you think Kiki will sleep in bed with me?” bc his former partner never allowed a cat in their bed this morning he texted to excitedly say she did. she slept snuggled up with him all night. :)
