There was a sale for the Yakuza games, so I ended up getting Like a Dragon: Gaiden after watching (1-5) and finishing (0, 6) the previous games, what a beautiful series I love it all despite its flaws 🥹🥹😭😭😭

I have a lot of ships I need to make art for. I really like phainaxa, phaidei, phaideinaxa, and I think mynaxa is cool too. I love argenthill, sampard, and of course, ratiorine.. I think that’s all the hsr ships I’m fond of.

I keep forgetting to put a chromatic aberration effect on my art. From here on, this is my reminder..

On various days, I spent so much time on that joongdok piece, that at the end I still wasn’t satisfied. It’s that artist instinct where you want to continue, but at some point you have to stop painting. At that moment, I just wanted to move on :(；ﾞﾟ'ωﾟ'):

Backgrounds are actually my biggest weakness, so I try to draw them a lot but I have difficulty making them more complex… like playing with perspective or making detailed landscapes, so I end up going with something simple. I hate this habit

Details are so difficult, cause I want to find the fastest way to convey shape and form. How do people make details so effortlessly? Maybe it’s about leaning on a painting’s imperfections… Ah I want to draw more intricate hair

Drawing a colour sketch before rendering/lineart really speeds up the process, in the past I’d be too scared to even ruin my lineart doodles when I used SAI… this hindered my art progress too much back then, thus I feel like I’m still lagging behind

I’m left handed so I keep drawing characters facing the left, it’s hard to let go of this havbit it’s so comfortable 🥲

Haha so this is new, I searched up my name and happened upon an old Phainon drawing I did, that someone redrew basically 1:1, and used my art as a “reference.” I’m kinda speechless, do people do this for practice..? Hm, I just hope they don’t pass it off as their own…

i’m so fascinated by what possessed me when i made this, arcane gave me such an explosion of creativity that i don’t think i could replicate again, but ah who knows what could happen
