Ultimately, a lot of resistance to sex work comes down to that some people think sandwiches are gross, therefore they must be bad, thus they must be banned. They will *always* jump over step one when pressed

First- nobody deserves to be stuck with a sexual predator. And that includes sex workers. Second- the presence of sex workers doesn't solve the problem because these people do not want consensual encounters. They want the non consent part. That's what we need to grapple with.

At the end of the day, the issue isn't that those men didn't have access to someone willing to consent. The issue is these men didn't want to be with someone that could consent.
