Found out today that one of the people I've dealt with regularly for comic purchases over the past 5 years has passed away. She's the 5th death of a friend/acquaintance of mine this year. This sucks.

I had a dream last night about an old friend I haven't talked to in a few years. They came over & said they're doing fine & have life sorted out. Then they walked away again. I was left to myself, thinking they never asked me how I was. That pretty much summed up our friendship.

This #Canucks game is one that more East coast people would stay up to watch because of the Hughes brothers & Vancouver has absolutely embarrassed themselves so far. Ho-ly.

When I was in high school, you couldn't stop me from drawing comics. I'd be drawing a page a day for stories I was thinking of, even if nothing would come of a 1-4 page sequence. I just poured my heart onto the paper. I was never encouraged to pursue art & it broke me. I never recovered.

I just want to curl up and read comics today. But since tomorrow is the start of a 4-day weekend for me. Tomorrow, I will curl up and read comics.
