#NowPlaying #MusicSky I've thoroughly enjoyed a gallop through the Cocteau's back catalogue in the last few days. And now I come to probably my favourite album. I think that the sound they made is astonishing and they really don't get mentioned very much nowadays.

This is after cleaning six! records last night that haven't been played since the 80s. It always slightly blows my mind that records get so dirty. #Humminguru

I can only say this is one of the best pieces about music (and so much more) that I've ever read. And as I've mentioned on here Jo's Uncle Trevor looked the spitting image of EC. So much so I thought it was EC, and as her family had neglected to tell me, they all thought it was hilarious.

In addition to today's record fair shenanigans the postie had put these in our safe place when we got home. The music will be fantastic I'm sure but the packaging on the Miles Davis box is abysmal. The card used is far too thin. A shame.

#NowPlaying #MusicSky I have a really lovely reissue of this but this sounds so much better. More depth and detail. The odd crackle but it's nearly 60 years old!

Swapped the records on the left for the records on the right plus a bit of cash. A first press Scott 4 in beautiful condition. The sleeve isn't, a touch 'playworn'. A lovely Yellow Submarine and a very underrated album which I've been on the lookout for a decent copy for a while.
