Grief sucks

My favorite aunt passed this morning and as you can imagine my heart is shattered. 🥲

No cardiologist appointments for little man till next year!!!! 🥲

I think I have slept maybe 8 hours since Friday night. Parenting and night shift is fucking hard. And being away from family is even harder. But at least we aren’t paying for daycare.

My last pet from my childhood passed last night 😔 my parents officially have no animals

Last time I worked I ended up in the emergency room and had a baby a week later so let’s hope this shift is a bit better then last time I worked 🤪🤪🤪

After that picu stay I just want to be home for the next 5 weeks before I have to go back to work 😅 literally have been at the hospital between the nicu, picu for 90 percent of my maternity leave 🙃😂

I am so exhausted. Hopefully after this stint we can stay away from the hospital 🥲

Being a mom is the best.. hard but the best . Trying to get our routine figured out but I’m so thankful for this life 🤍

My other coworker took me home today and I slept in my own bed for the first time since Saturday 🫶 grateful for my coworkers this week

Car is stuck at my co workers place but i made it to work safely (shout out to my uber driver who I tipped VERY well I might add) pulling a 16 tonight just because. Thank god I didn’t have to call out. Stay safe Midwest friends ❄️❄️❄️

Passed glucose test with flying colors. Little man is measuring 2 weeks ahead and is in 98th percentile for weight and height. So thankful for a healthy pregnancy 💙 13ish weeks to go!!!
