Happy New Story Sunday! This week, the very last story of Issue 5. In two short weeks, on April 19, our very first themed issue will launch! The Daily Tomorrow VEGETAL: this years coolest plantpunk SF event. For now, bask in the warm, reassuring rays of this very simple story with nothing to hide.

VEGETAL update: We currently have 49 submissions for our upcoming themed issue, of which we will be selecting 6. At those numbers, we would be looking at a 12% acceptance rate. That’s pretty darn high for a pro-rate! Submissions close in a week and a day on March 20.

Have to admit, I'm very curious as to where this one is going. The first section, regarding robots creating new iterations of themselves inside a closed facility on Earth, seems to have had *no* relationship to the rest of the story, so I am *wildly* curious as to how this will come back around.
