Investors can read the writing on the wall. China has reached its peak in oil consumption. South Korea, Japan, and India don't represent a market expansion. The USA wants energy independence. The Premier might like to throw good money after bad; Albertans can see right through the misdirection.

The reason that nobody is stepping forward to build another pipeline is that the last one cost tens of billions of dollars more than budgeted, took nearly ten years to complete, and is half empty. I wonder why investors are balking at Premier Smith's pleas to build another government boondoggle.

"They have done so much damage to the investment climate that one ones' willing to step up and put billions of dollars on the line if there isn't a guarantee that they're going to get something built" Is Premier Smith referring to the investment-killing restrictions she imposed on renewable energy?
