Happy (late) tiara Tuesday! This weekend my tiara was a bit harder probably because I started making it later in the day. I do so love a good Halloween theme!

Vincent Villafranca held a sculpting workshop at Armadillocon. Went with Teddy Harvia and he sculpted too. Here is mine with Teddy’s and Vincent’s pieces.

Was goh at Armadillocon this weekend. This was the art for the poster, souvenir book cover and Tshirt.

Omg I didn’t even post my Hugo photos? I have been distracted with life more than I thought.

And I guess I didn’t post last week’s too! This one I liked in concept but not wholly happy with the execution. I think the silver needs to be black as some people suggested.

The speech I made for the Hugos in a nutshell.. I am amazed by this community and the love and support I received after our accident. The fan categories are so very important to the Hugos and should be celebrated! Last year was an amazing labor of love and I am so proud of my work on Glasgow.

So discussing with my resident preteen I wanted to do something different for the teen tiara workshop in Seattle than the normal tiara. This is the basic design and like with all my workshops I just give the basics and let those who wish to be creative go for it 🙂 ❤️👑

Happy tiara Tuesday! This tiara was created with someone in mind who said a goth tiara with moonstone and silver. I aged the silver a bit and added in a litte bronze to set off the moonstone.

Happy tiara Tuesday! My daughter wanted to make a few tiaras for her second week at camp as gifts for some of the councillors. It is at the local ren faire and she loves it, particularly the sword fighting and fae studies.

I dont think I shared this tiara. Loved the red and mixed metals.

I need a pick me up with all that is going on so I have continued to post tiaras because they bring me joy as well. I shared a different one on Facebook but since I saw that Hugo voting is opening I thought I should share the last of the Glasgow tiaras. Featuring the lovely tartan.

I have been providing details elsewhere but we were building a house and it blew up. My husband was in the house, and he is recovering from major burns all over his body. Keep him in your thoughts as it is early days in his injury.
