I'm all for saving the environment but right now I want a 1980s fridge with plastic ice cube trays. The fridge saga continued with a phone call asking me to take photos of fridge labels that I had to text to a different phone number that replied telling me that a part needs to be ordered and someone will call me in an unspecified amount of time to schedule an appointment on a day I can't choose.

The irony of having a "smart fridge" that requires an app, two outside websites, a useless form, an AI virtual assistant who requires re-entry of form data, a secure text link to another outside website for payment and then waiting 24-48 hours for a phone call, all just to try and schedule a repair.
