finished Empire of Sand. that was a frustrating read, te setting was actually pretty cool but we're stuck in Mehr's head, going in circles. reminded me of Circe in that she always just internally rages and when she finally acts it's by mistake or outburst and it makes everything worse. on to LotR 2
