Ordered an RTX 5090 today (been planning a new build for a bit now) to get ahead of the price hikes. As soon as I ordered it I was pissed. Cancelled the order. Just not going to participate in this bullshit at all. The whole broken system falls apart the moment we all disengage.

I don't know what to tell you. You threatened our sovereignty, mocked us as the 51st state, and said you didn't need anything from us. We've moved on. We're doing business with other countries instead. You've been left behind. It's going to get worse.

Kinda sucks that you need a $270 controller to change analog stick settings on the PS5 at a system level.

AI for budgeting - I'd rather trust my cat with money.

Every time someone sneaks up on me in BF6 and shoots me in the back I'm bummed out. Not because they got the drop on me. Not because they killed me. I'm bummed out because back in my day when you got the drop on someone you took their tags. Kids these days.

iOS 26.1 made everything suck. I have yet to find a single redeeming feature.

By the time games are done compiling shaders I've fallen asleep sitting at my desk.

My buddy for the past 19 years passed away today. He was getting pets and love when he passed. He loved ice cubes, chicken, going outside, and flirting with the ladies. He was the most patient cat on the planet, letting kids poke and pull at him and never losing his cool. He will be missed.

This makes zero sense. People exercised GME warrants at higher prices than they could have just bought the stock for outright. It makes zero sense. Zero. Throwing money away.

44 days after shoulder surgery I got my sling off. In the five days since I've seen massive improvement in my range of motion. I can touch my face, use a turn signal, put two hands on the wheel, and extend my arm to shake hands. I couldn't do any of those things when I woke up last Wednesday.

I don't play Chess, but watching Magnus Carlsen play is wildly entertaining. I've seen him beat Chess Masters drunk, late, blindfolded, and who knows in what other compromised states. This is drunk Magnus saving a position against a GM. Absurd.

It's hard to believe that anyone could create a worse storefront for PC games than EGS.

Started playing TLD again the last couple of weeks and couldn't find my Bunker Rifle. Spent like 10 days in Coastal Highway searching for it. Figured I dropped in somewhere I'd never forget to save some carry capacity. Found it hanging above my bed in Mystery Lake.

This will be interesting in Canada. I'm a huge fan of Crave so seeing all the HBO content move to Netflix, which will get a price hike, is a bummer. I'm definitely keeping Crave, but how do they make up for this probable loss of HBO programming?
