The main plot of Rain'li's beach episode consists of him being more or less dragged there in an attempt by his friends to force him to take a break. He spends most of his time either trying to sneak away to get work in or getting sidetracked by various people needing help.

Rain'li is currently semi-retired as of the end of Endwalker, and if and when he retires in full Alisaie is the most likely to take up the mantle. However, he believes that it was a mistake in the first place for any singular person to bear so much of that burden and does not wish that fate on her.

I decided some time back that Rain'li would be a shard of Emmerololth, but I didn't really consider until now who Azem would be instead if that was the case. Of the available NPCs, Alisaie feels like the strongest contender in my current lore, and I'm excited to start playing with that idea.

I'm thinking about the ways that people say "I love you" without words. When someone knows what comforts a partner, or remembers a friend's favorite drink, or brings you something because it reminds them of you. The love found in the everyday actions we take to ease the burdens of those around us.

I keep thinking about making Rain'li a carrd, but I don't even know where to start, and I'm not sure how much of a point there is if I don't RP. I feel like I'd kind of be making it just because.

Rain'li takes extremely good care of his hands, as they are an important part of his skill as a healer. They are softer than you would expect, as his weapon of choice is not wielded with his hands. He is meticulous about his nails and keeps them short.
