Not a proper year-in-review, but worth mentioning why I've been quiet recently I finally decided to bite the bullet and finally organize all my data, starting with building an Unraid server out of my old PC (my very first custom built PC from 2016)

@liss.bsky.social I’m sure you’ve gotten this a bunch but: Unraid is a very good drop-in replacement for Synology. I run all of my docker containers therein and (a) the SSD cache drive makes my 10g network worth it, and (b) Homeassistant’s matter container can run alongside it.
