Today, Nazis proudly protested in what used to be my neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio. I lived on that block for five years. As my friend Kiese Laymon has said “there’s no safe [for us] in America, only safer.” I’m staying where it’s safer. And I know my worth and needs. Godspeed.
