Was never a fan of the guy but thought at least he meant well. Clearly I was wrong. I don’t mean this to be a political feed, but I truly believe trans rights are not a political stance, they are basic human decency.

If you are Trans, Non-binary or anything else, the decision from the Supreme Court changes nothing about who you are. You are still an amazing person and no legal definition can change that. The struggles you have gone through to be yourself are not invalidated because of someone else's definition.

RIP to a real one.

As people are sharing stories of Colin Renfrew, I’m reminded of the first time I met him. He had just finished a brilliant talk in Cambridge and was chatting with other lecturers, while coincidentally standing in front of a life size-portrait of himself. Lovely man and great archaeologist.
