and the conversation about “authors writing books like we are dumb” …. yes, the girls are writing books in seven to ten business days and we can tell. BUT AND ALSO, you need to level your reading up sister. there are more authors than the 2-3 you keep in rotation.

and i think there’s a difference between being open to new genres and authors and having to FORCE yourself to read these things. you can try and not like something… that’s valid. but trying new things is going into it knowing you’re going to be uncomfortable…

there are just too many books, great books at that, to read instead of forcing yourself to read something you clearly aren’t enjoying… and then continuing to go back to the author like… y’all are miserable by your own making.

y’all spend all of y’all time reading things because other people said they enjoyed it and not out of genuine interest. so everything yall rate, yall rate bad because you are chasing someone else’s exact experience.
