#Inktober day 32: Mishann (friend OC) Hah! You thought we were done? Nope! Since the theme of this month was a rotating four day challenge, we had to finish things up evenly. This IS the last one, though. Mishann is a half-dragon with incredible strength and agility. And wings, of course! #furryart

#Inktober day 31: Tails(Sonic the Hedgehog) I make this pic with all the love in the world :P I adore #Sonic stuff, but, being a furry in the early 00s: you saw recolors and edits of this fox *everywhere*. So many folks I knew and know had OCs that were influenced in some way by Tails. #furryart

#Inktober day 30: Adventure Gang (Oscar, Felix, & Cherry) I don't blame you if you know me but don't know these kids. I've drawn them for every Inktober for the past four years, but nowhere else. I thought I'd keep up with tradition, and give them some names, too! #furryart

#Inktober day 29: Justin (Secret of NIMH) Turns out this movie inspired both Timothius and me, so you get two NIMH drawings this year! Mrs. Brisby was my favorite character from the film, but Justin was great. He had some Disney's Robin Hood energy going on with that charming voice. #furryart

#Inktober day 28: Alexis (friend's OC) Alexis is honestly a pretty neat character! She's an elf with red hair who is covered in freckles and is some kind of god of creation (or a druid, in some settings). It makes for a pretty cool design, overall. She reminds me of Malon from Zelda.

#Inktober day 27: Brittany (Alvin & the Chipmunks) Just a reminder that I'm not choosing who I draw every day! I'm alternating between a friend's list and my own. I say that because I actively dislike this character and have ever since I was a kid :P The rest of the cast is cool, though! #furryart

#Inktober day 26: Rick To probably nobody's surprise, Rick here started life as a Sonic fan character, despite his acting like a Final Fight character. I'm still a huge #Sonic nerd, so this was a fun excuse to lean in. Rick's been with me long enough that he feels like a second avatar. #furryart

#Inktober day 25: Jubei (BlazBlue) I've always adored the wise old master trope. Double points if he's cute and fluffy. #BlazBlue is a fantastic series that needs more love and definitely inspired me with its storytelling and cool designs. I was so happy when Jubei became playable. #furryart

#Inktober day 24: Erik (friend's OC) I tried something a little different with this one by playing with the grey lines! Erik is a fruit bat who is magically connected to the element of Wind. Timothius plays him in my Ironclaw game, and he's a sweet lil guy. I'd been meaning to draw him! #furryart

#Inktober day 23: Mrs. Brisby (The Secret of NIMH) This movie was pretty important to me, especially as I was going through art school. Mrs. Brisby is an amazing hero and is one of the most selfless characters in animation. I encourage folks to read the book and its sequel! #furryart #donbluth

#Inktober day 22: Janice Janice isn't that important of a character, but she's a favorite of the fellow I'm doing this challenge with. She's a punk rocker squirrel who is always pretty aloof. She also really likes candy! I enjoy her hair. #furryart

#Inktober day 21: Craig Wolfe (Vicki Fox) I adore the World of Vicki Fox, a webcomic made by @vickimfox.bsky.social, as it deeply inspired me in my college years. While Cheri is my favorite character, the "Pecan Festival" arc was my favorite story, and that's due to the relatable Craig. #furryart

#Inktober day 20: Katy (friend's OC) Katy is a character with a lot of history behind her, but probably one of the most interesting facts is that she's not completely a raccoon! She's actually a human girl who was transformed by an evil scientist. #furryart

#Inktober Day 19: Essie (The Kingdom Chums) I had never seen this property prior to Inktober, but this was a very cute character to draw! She sings a song about being unfaithful to your spouse (yes, it was a kids' film), so I pictured her threatening Nate with said song. Terrifying. #furryart

#Inktober day 18: Nathan Libertie (my OC) Nate is a constant punching bag of both my heroes and my villains, and for good reason. He's a scummy little henchman who works for anyone who supports his vices. He's always in it for himself first and foremost. I love working with him. #furryart

#Inktober Day 17: Basil (The Great Mouse Detective) It always struck me that the first scene we see of Basil involves him failing. He's still brilliant, but clearly imperfect. I love that. I enjoy heroes who are competent yet fallible. #furryart #Disney

#Inktober Day 16: Emerald (friend OC) Emerald is a musically-inclined fox, as seen here! I've actually drawn her a few times over the years, and I was struggling to find a new way to incorporate her music theme. So I went ahead and turned the dial up to 11 and made her a one-man-band! #furryart

#Inktober Day 11: Ohno (Mighty Orbots) I have never heard of this show before starting Inktober this year, as I wasn't ever into robots like the Transformers and such. It's actually a really endearing little gem with a fun art style, so I can see why it inspired my friend so strongly! #art #orbots

#Inktober Day 06: Anne (my OC) There's some level of poetic justice that the character I rolled today is the character that had her outfit inspired by Tanya. Anne is a very old character for me, and one of her defining traits (aside from her faith) is that she makes her own dresses. #furryart

So, for this #Inktober, I'm doing something slightly different! I'm doing the challenge with an online friend and we're following a fun four day format. Day 1: Draw a character that inspired your art. 2: One of your OCs. 3: A character that inspired the other. 4: One of their OCs. Then repeat!

It occurs to me that I haven't posted up further pages of my "Forever Flight" comic that I've made! I don't have a ton more, but I thought folks might enjoy seeing how things have progressed. I especially learned lot about working with wall textures in these pages. #furryart #comics

Sometimes we’re unsatisfied with a thing we made because when it only existed in our head, we saw all the things it could have been and when it’s done we know all the things that it isn’t, but we can’t see the way it expands into a million new things when someone else unpacks it in their head. 🖊️🦑

Although Kheil is the main protag of #Supercell, I also sketched up Tazho, another character from the comic. He's too friggin' cute, so I absolutely had to. He's also surprisingly hard to draw emoting due to the shape of his beak. Kudos to @bmbrice.bsky.social for doing so much with his eyes!

I'm always slow to these trend things, but I wanted to give this a shot! I just finished reading both new books of the comic #Supercell! They were fantastic and I highly recommend them. If you like military school alien coming-of-age drama and action, then this is definitely a comic for you.
