Yeah, and this is always the silly time of year. I stand by what I said that the Bruins are itching for a big hockey trade, likely involving one of those first round picks. But the market is so inflated right now for imperfect fits. It makes the perfect fits cost even MORE.

Yeah, I think the biggest and most fair critique on Sweeney is that he nibbled along the edges for too long with an aging core thinking they’d be great forever. Almost realized mortality a bit too late. I don’t blame him for 2023. Failures came at ice level that year.

Takeaway from this presser is that I wouldn't expect anything big. Prices are 'exorbitant' and they aren't ready to sacrifice pain of last year for quick fixes. I asked if those exorbitant prices would push B's to sell for their benefit, but didn't seem like that was of interest.
