Over a month later, the chest shell is done! And no, I didn't take a break here, it actually took a whole friggin month to wrangle the topology on this thing. It was an ordeal, and it was entirely my own incompetence and excessive perfectionism. But, I think I learned at least a little bit there.

After much pain (praise be the dev gods for periodic autosaves) the noggin is now almost done. Of course the mesh is far from final, there are some features that don't translate well from snapping to the sculpt (namely areas around sharp edges), which will need to be retouched with snapping off.
