My favorite part about that scene is Kikuchi plays the instrumental version of Mystical Adventure there instead of Head Cha La. Proving its a Dragon Ball movie with a Z skin. On the Japanese side Nozawa gives one of her most impressive takes on a Kamehameha ever as well. Its an amazing movie.

Was thinking similarly to this, and where I ended up was basically Adult Swim is only place a show like Primal could exist right now. If it was on Netflix it would have been canned after one season. I have a hard time imagining it existing as a streaming-only show at all, anywhere.

The newest Primal episode is great for a lot of reasons, but at one point Zombie Spear rips a guy's arm off and beats him to death with it. Primal good.

Trigun Stargaze has a good first episode that kicks things off in a slow but enjoyable fashion. Milly almost immediately helps the show balance the comedy a bit better imo. The opening, like a lot of CG shows, really is just a collection of scenes from the show, and I wonder why that is.

Black Clover is ending soon, and like most manga, there were plot threads that probably could have been expanded on more. One thing tho I keep seeing is folks saying we still don't know who Asta's dad is. People may disagree, but I never felt like we were supposed to know who Asta's father is.

A touching tribute to Mike F

Seeing a lot of people say the ending to Star Trek TNG is a perfect ending, and I largely agree with that, but it reminds me of how dogwater the ending to the original series was. Turnabout Intruder is such an awful episode to end the original series on.

I feel like giving Sony some grief for releasing the Zombie Land Saga movie in theaters for only one day, and only with the dub, but honestly, that's more than they did with a lot of their recent anime films so....

I realize it's not AS desperate as bringing back Chris Evans, but honestly, there's something also kinda desperate about finally bringing in the X-Men to the MCU imo. "Look, look, it's Cyclops! You love Cyclops right? I know he's been terrible in basically every live-action movie, but look!"
