BoC did an interview years ago, maybe even before Tomorrow's Harvest, where they talked about wanting to get more aggressive with their synth sounds. I tend to remember them mentioning a more industrial/ebm style approach, but I could be wrong. Anyway, you do hear some of that in Inferno!

The mixes are sooo clean on Inferno. Rivals even Campfire Headphase. I know we all love the beautiful, saturated tape-aesthetic of MHtRtC and Geogaddi, but clean can be good, too. Inferno has a lot of the soul of those great works, but mates it with Campfire-level production/mixing

In case anyone was wondering (and nobody was), the 2018 remaster (I guess it's a remix) version of Lucretia My Reflection is waaaay different than the Floodland album version. I never knew this. I prefer it. The drums were completely re-done and are super punchy.

CPU cooler/heat-sink upgrade complete. Average temps under max load: >85C Temps now: ~53C!? I still have to adjust overclocking/boost stuff in BIOS, but this is an incredible improvement!

Yes, it's true. I do my Aeropress coffee @ 185F degrees for 4 minutes. 24g, semi-coarse grind. 220g water. It's more concentrated, as I think this is the strength of the Aeropress. Mid-way between americano and espresso.

RE: Elektron Outbox 8 latency So, it seems it won't be identical to the analog outs on the host instrument, but it will be pretty darn close. ThomasJ from Elektron has this to say about it:
