Christmas decorations are down, a bit early but I couldn't face doing it after work. Managed to kick the back step and potentially break my big toe. 🙃 I haven't been brave enough to take my sock off to look at it yet but I suspect it's going all kinda of interesting colours.

Finally got some Christmas decorations up. 🎄 Our tree is too big for our house, we usually have to block off a door but this year we've reversed the corner sofa and put the armchair in front of the front door, since we don't use it anyway. It's not ideal but it works.

Literally all I did today was wake up, have a sausage sandwich, make breakfast, then sit on the sofa and watch YouTube videos and movies in front of the fire with two handsome men and three dogs. Pretty fantastic day, honestly.

Had a lovely lazy weekend but that means I have to do alllll the Christmas prep next weekend. 🙃 Our enormous tree was bought for a different house where we had way more room, we have to block off a door in the lounge when we put it up (spare room or office) and this year we need access to both. 🤔

There’s a cute creperie opposite our hotel we wanted to visit but it’s only open 12:00-14:00 and 19:00-21:00 and we haven’t been anywhere near during those hours. We are tonight, but we’re heading out for dinner on the seine soooo don’t really want a crepe right now. #RABOT

Today we went to the Louvre and had a lovely long wander around. I didn’t really plan anything, we just went where our feet took us so I’m sure we missed some gems but whatever. Some of the facial expressions on the paintings… this guy looks like he had a really big night out last night. 🥴😆

I’m off work for a week and a bit, heading to Paris tomorrow for Lady Gaga on Monday, back on Thursday but flying to Birmingham on Friday, back on Sunday but have the following Monday off to recover. I have some fun stuff booked in Paris and plenty of time for leisurely sightseeing. Can’t wait!

Rufus is getting so much more tolerant of Timber. Much less grumbling when he gets close, and just now he let him clamber all over him. 🥰

Our new puppy is mostly Bernese and apparently that means he gets too warm for cuddles. 😭 He’s sleeping on the FLOOR instead of on my lap. 😭😭😭

Rufus is still grumbly but is letting Timber get closer. 🥰 (Timber doesn’t give a fuck about the grumbles and growls back.)

Rufus is scared of the couch cushions falling on him, if one of them moves he jumps down. Maya has weaponised this and if she wants to sit where he is, she’ll put her paw on one of the nearby cushions as a threat. She just tried this on Timber and is very frustrated that it hasn’t worked. 😆

Ah, I forgot how much “fun” the game of “what the fuck is the puppy eating” is. Sometimes it’s a dry leaf, sometimes it’s a €30 USB-C cable.

We had a fun night at Oink last night, but it’s so annoying how many guys said hi on The Apps afterwards/this morning rather than coming up and saying hi in person when we could have actually done something. 😒
