Done a couple more today and I’m so confused by the pacing. First four episodes cover 5 years and collapse a third of human territory. Full sprint. The next 9 episodes cover maybe a few hours. Sub-DBZ pace. Doesn’t help that it’s maybe 15 minutes of actual episode in a recap/intro-outro/preview wrap

Turns out I actually was hearing things last night turning on the crockpot, namely the crockpot cracking. Good thing I was using a crockpot condom or I may well have burned the house down. I guess I’m shopping for a new crockpot now, maybe I’ll look at one of those instapots all the kids love

DTF St Louis - good, and not what I expected
