Just watched #Blakes7 Power. Is there anything known about why Ben Steed is so focused on his weird toxic battle of the sexes concept? The things his scripts make our regulars say (especially Avon this time) really takes me out of the story, it's disheartening. Anyone here with background info?

#DoctorWho The Seeds of Death: Another monster story like many. Nice rocket idea, but I just can't stand the whispering Ice Warriors and their design. Happy to see the BBC is getting their worth out of the foam machine, loved the foam cliffhanger. Zoë and Jamie work very well together! 7/10 ⭐

#Blakes7 Star One: My expectations might have been a bit too high, I was a tad disappointed after the last two stories. It felt competent without being very exciting. More Servelan would have been nice (as always). Still, I had a good time and I can't wait to see what the next series brings!

While I wasn't the biggest fan of Jodie's Doctor during the run, I'm slowly finding myself feeling warmer towards her portrayal every day. I feel like there is a special spark of warmth, kindness and positivity in this era that was needed during COVID and is needed right now. #DoctorWho

#Blakes7 | Countdown. Had some more trouble getting into this one! The action sequence at the start was a bit too ungrounded for me missing familiar characters. It did recover very well, I especially loved the ending with the ice caving in. Jenna and Cally were severely underused sadly. 6/10 for me.

Just finished playing #SleepingDogs. Having lived in Hong Kong I thought it captures the vibe just enough but I missed the Kowloon atmosphere. What makes it great is that it really feels like a spiritual successor to #Bully, with many of the same people working on it. 8/10, perfect for steam deck!

#Blakes7 #Killer | It took some getting used to the "dryer" dialogue and lack of sound/music, but as soon as it took off it was really good. Pairing up Avon and Villa was a great move, and Blake was much better than in the previous episodes. It does hurt how it's only men doing things. 7/10 for me!

The Invasion: A lot to love but could've been cut down to 6 episodes. The first 4 have some fun elements and feel very spy-thriller, but the pace really only picks up with the Cybermen reveal. After that it's much better, love the new design! Feels like Age of Steel was inspired by this. #DoctorWho

In spite of all that is going on, after an unrealistically speedy recovery from the surgery, today might have been the best day of my life. Starting my day as a Cyberman 'patient', meeting Billie and David (and having a lovely chat) and finishing it off seeing Robbie Williams live. What a day!!!

#RealityWar: I wasn't a fan of the pacing of the first half. Long exposition scenes + lots of hand-holding with an easy resolution. However, the second half was much better! Millie stole the show, perfectly conveying both kindness and loneliness. The end makes me excited for the future... #DoctorWho

The Mind Robber was a great ride, I found it just as entertaining as Enemy of the World. It felt a bit like a mix of the Celestial Toymaker and the Keys of Marinus in the best way possible. Especially in this very monster-focused era it was a breath of fresh air! #DoctorWho

I loved #WishWorld! It's my favourite kind of story and I'm impressed with how it all makes perfect sense for something so bizarre. It has been set up well during the era, making it very satisfying. Also big hats off to the stunning set design of the Bone Palace. Can't wait for next week! #DoctorWho

I finally watched the Web of Fear for the first time! Loved the last three episodes, they really felt like a whodunnit (pun intended) mystery. Shame that I had such tunnel vision on Anne that I just got confused at the reveal - did anyone else have the same? #classicwho #doctorwho #whosky

Just watched The Enemy of the World. It doesn't feel like a 6-parter at all, in a good way. This is the first time I thought "I wouldn't mind a 7th episode" instead of "this could've been done in 4". Phenomenal pacing and Troughton is terrific as Salamander! Definitely my favourite of the season.
