Same loop, different day. It fascinates me that there are endless possibilities with accompaniments and riffing alongside an idea sketched in sound. Somewhere on its journey, there might be a moment where it lands.

“Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working” - Brian Eno. I’m glad I traversed the Mynd today to further experiment with this Mosses tune. It’s a curious thing to have a whisper of an idea days ago to sounding it out back in the studio.

Do you feel a sense of belonging to where you live? It's funny, I find I'm drawn to the ridge lines of South Shropshire and feel a sense of place there much more than the flatter plain in the North of the County but I love the Meres and the Mosses up there. Where do you most feel at home?

Welcome to the studio space I use, where the sounds of nature and music combine to hopefully evolve into something meaningful. Most of this next adventure in music-making collaborating with the Mosses in North Shropshire, will be documented on beautifulnoise.substack.com.
