and in a more macro sense, why people hate winter is a federal issue. it’s too cold in your home/you don’t have a home? you don’t have adequate winter clothing? sounds like canada should have affordable housing and universal basic income so that people don’t freeze to death exposed to the elements

so much of what people complain about and hate about winter is actually a municipal/provincial issue. it’s hard to walk in the snow? yeah! that’s why cities have to budget for plows! maybe if you’re noticing the sidewalks are never cleared you can complain to the government and not the clouds
