Making the best on a hazy day in the City. Gym done. Walk through Castro to Dolores Park. Smiling doggies at every corner. Pan au Chocolat from Thorough Bread (surprised that they were open but happily flirted with the cute guy in line). Good to give thanks and enjoy friends and mutuals 🙏🏽

I’m not complaining : the weather is clear, sunny, and warm again today in San Francisco. Barriers are already going up in the Castro for the last Castro Street Fair of 2025.

Okay… a cool wind from the north is clearing the grey but a noticeable difference. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still in gym shorts shorts enjoying Dolores as she is. 🙏🏽💅🏾

For all the tribes stuck in wet or cold today, the weather is even warmer and sunnier in SF today. The lawn in Dolores Park is freshly mown and started to populate this morning. Sarah Vaughn is singing Summertime on my Pill. Several chaises available on the roof deck next to me. A beautiful day.

Who in their right mind is working on a tan line 3 days before Halloween!? It is so clear and warm today in the City, I’m on the roof chaise AGAIN awaiting company for the hot tub.

I hesitate to share this but while looking for a film to celebrate Divine’s birthday today (Glen Milstead would be 80 today). I found the Cockettes documentary which includes Divine’s time with the Cockettes as told by John Waters and survivors from the queer hippie commune living in the City.

Home from No Kings in SF. So many people, and it’s so warm today in Market Street. I miss the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence but enjoyed cake walking up Market with the Dixieland jazz band. It felt like the biggest protest march since the Viet Nam war. Didn’t see any counter-protesters.

The bare hairy chest, boobs and nipples, kinda show the results of regular workouts. Plus the rooftop sun tan to erase the prior farmer tan. Consider this a prototype Halloween costume… I am not a fan of masks or hoods, but maybe I’m missing something?

Harvey Milk Reimagined - saw it last night at YBCA was staged beautifully and performed perfectly. It is the reimagining of the 30 year old opera of a nearly 50 year old story. Forgot to bring a hanky for the tears it brought back. I laughed, I cried; it provoked more than emotions and memories. 😢

My first really warm day in San Francisco and it didn’t disappoint. Grocery store was crowded with guys buying Modelo and White Claw with a steady supply of young men walking to Dolores Park and filling the fruit shelf to the brim with thongs or tiny speedo like suits. Lotsa skin out getting Vit D

Just marched to celebrate Harvey Milk Day, he would have been 95 today and California has proclaimed this day as an official Harvey Milk Day. Woke as F. 😂 The festivities started at 17th and Castro with choir, marching band, an excerpt from the opera Harvey Milk Reimagined op-sf.org/harvey. 🎂❤️‍🩹

Exploring new cultural experiences… went to SF Ballet Frankenstein, my first time at a ballet. It is a different take on Ms Shelley’s story, but the final pas de deux was between Dr. Frankenstein and his monster! A hot, goth, biracial scene and not everyone survives! No spoilers 🥵🤭
