Just watched Chris & Don: A Love Story about Christopher Isherwood and Don Bachardy. A heart felt story of love and of life and of their art. Two gay men before Stonewall and AIDS. Christopher Isherwood was a favorite author when I was a baby gay in the 70’s. Amazing lives, Don’s is still going. 🥰

It’s Friday and my cold is almost gone… looking forward to returning to the gym soon. But here is evidence that I am still gay with flagging grandpa powers

I’m not complaining : the weather is clear, sunny, and warm again today in San Francisco. Barriers are already going up in the Castro for the last Castro Street Fair of 2025.

Okay… a cool wind from the north is clearing the grey but a noticeable difference. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still in gym shorts shorts enjoying Dolores as she is. 🙏🏽💅🏾

For all the tribes stuck in wet or cold today, the weather is even warmer and sunnier in SF today. The lawn in Dolores Park is freshly mown and started to populate this morning. Sarah Vaughn is singing Summertime on my Pill. Several chaises available on the roof deck next to me. A beautiful day.

Who in their right mind is working on a tan line 3 days before Halloween!? It is so clear and warm today in the City, I’m on the roof chaise AGAIN awaiting company for the hot tub.

I hesitate to share this but while looking for a film to celebrate Divine’s birthday today (Glen Milstead would be 80 today). I found the Cockettes documentary which includes Divine’s time with the Cockettes as told by John Waters and survivors from the queer hippie commune living in the City.

Home from No Kings in SF. So many people, and it’s so warm today in Market Street. I miss the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence but enjoyed cake walking up Market with the Dixieland jazz band. It felt like the biggest protest march since the Viet Nam war. Didn’t see any counter-protesters.

The bare hairy chest, boobs and nipples, kinda show the results of regular workouts. Plus the rooftop sun tan to erase the prior farmer tan. Consider this a prototype Halloween costume… I am not a fan of masks or hoods, but maybe I’m missing something?

Just watched and then rewatched Star Trek SNW: A Space Adventure Hour (season 3 episode 4). I’m still chuckling about it both as a parody of TOS and with the hope that the Roddenberry Universes impact our ideals for a just society. 🙏🏽 Got a haircut today, blah blah blah, so pics too.

Artificial is a film directed by Luca Guadagnino who directed Queer and many others. Andrew Garfield is starring. It’s about Sam Altman the AI CEO. It is currently filming in SF, around Dolores Park neighborhood. Earlier today on the 20th St side of Dolores Park. Yes, I’m a park gossip monger. 🤷🏽‍♂️
