What a finish

Kirby Air Ride was my first Kirby game I remember buying it despite seeing scathing reviews in magazines I admit when I tried Air Ride mode, I also wasn't a big fan But City Trial captured me and my friends for dozens maybe even hundreds of hours To see it back in such a grand way is incredible

Ahhh the Japanese RPG has always been celebrated for its excellence. There is a French RPG by Sandfall inspired by that same Japanese excellence...

My wife walks in on me playing Kirby Air Riders - she isn't that knowledgeable about games. Her comments. "Wow it is like Mario Kart but... Unhinged" "Reminds me a lot of Smash Bros" Needless to say I was impressed by how keen her eye is.

Calling it now, Mario and Luigi go here to find a spaceship because of the whole pyramids made by aliens thing

The ACNH & Pikmin 4 updates I feel really spell out the Nintendo approach going forward I feel. By giving out these updates, it will help keep these franchises relevant, while allowing development resources to go to other projects.

So #paxaus2025 is done, and I have to say it felt like it may have been the best one since the pandemic. Lines felt well managed, merch well stocked, plenty of games to see and play, and some really fantastic panels.

Met Isabelle today. Life is good.

Just played Dear Me I Was... Took maybe 40 mins to finish. Cried a bunch. Very touching little story. Given how cheap it is, I do recommend it if you like the sound of a short narrative game that tugs on the heart strings.

I would pull the two new immersive cards in the first 24 hours when they are like this....

Unfortunately I fell victim to launch hardware faults, with a line of pixel discolouration appearing on my Switch 2's screen on Tuesday evening. Fortunately (thanks to Australia's sound consumer protection laws) it was easy enough to replace at EB, but man... was it a process to deal with saves...

This might be my greatest gaming achievement.

The news about Totaka's song on MKW just reminded me how these videos basically just created a permanent part of my brain that constantly thinks about that easter egg and where it may be hidden in his other credited games. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLMA...

I am still catching up on all the various gaming showcases and man, it's crazy to me how so many games (especially from indies) if you showed them to me 10-15 years ago, they would have instantly been a must buy. But now so many games hit on the same notes, it is overwhelming, so I get none of them

So is there a reason the game couldn't just remove all audio? Why did I need to mute my TV?

Do you ever think about how of all the strawhats Luffy has probably had the least traumatic backstory that we know of? Like there is still a chance to pull something on us with his mum, but so far it is relatively ok.

I don't know what the consensus is on this. But to me this was exactly what I wanted for a Pokemon Snap sequel. Lot's of Pokemon, from all generations, with more tracks to explore. I don't care that you had to grind some of the levels to get through the story. This is what I wanted and I love it.

So yeah that was.. that was kind of perfect? I never thought a Kirby Air Ride sequel was possible, let alone one by Sakurai. DK 3D platformer was the stuff of dreams after DK64. Mario Kart World nailed everything I wanted from a Mario Kart game... Deltarune 3+4 on launch... GAMECUBE!
