A few new things for #Battletech in progress.

Mostly done with my 1/100 hobbit hole. I believe photographing it may turn out to be a challenge on its own.

I found myself returning to the image of crying towers. In one case it was a tower flooding its surroundings with water flowing out of its upper floor windows. In the other it was a live tomb walking over old cemetery Graven-Tosk on long column-like legs while crying stale water from every opening.

A Waterloo-themed interactive toy I made years ago. Never finished it, but it is quite fun still: olesota.github.io/waterloo/ind... Dataset collected by André Heughebaert and Eric Iven (check junibis.be for the original project's details).

I consider my Highlander painted! 🤩 Very happy with the result and the photography. However, yet again, I came to a realisation that there is still so much I need to learn 😅. Well, better than otherwise! I hope you like the figure!

Sat down to brush up on the basic rules of #Battletech. The local heroine, young mechanic Camilla, in a Crab she found buried in a dune a few years ago, versus Laszlo, a hotshot raider whose Shadow Hawk is always annoyingly white. This duel will decide the fate of the village!

Terrain observations 🧵(1) I have been trying out different terrain arrangements for an autumn-themed Eastern Front table. Mostly to figure out where to proceed with growing my collection. In this short thread I will share a few observations, feel free to comment, disagree and share your wisdom!

I am still working out the formula for my 15mm Eastern Front terrain. Currently agonising over the basing, in particular, grass colour (see the variation on the three pieces). I might give up on the initial idea of trying to make my terrain fit both autumn and winter, focussing on the former 🍂 🥶.
