For the final plenary at #OTN2025 Melissa Kapulu unpacked the journey of building a human infection study platform. From the malaria infection model to the Shigella model, she showcased a collaborative approach that blends both internal and external partnerships to refine and expand the model.

💡 Mid-morning #OTN2025 sessions dived into health systems, social sciences & clinical trials. These engaging talks cover critical research areas such as youth mental health illness, acute influenza clinical trials, community drivers of AMR, inpatient feeding for malnourished infants & more.

Day 3 of #OTN2025 featured a panel on policy engagement moderated by Fatuma Guleid. Speakers Ambrose Agweyu, Arjen Dondorp & Naomi Gibson emphasized the importance of strategic mapping, institutional support & lasting ties with policy actors to drive impact. @moru-mip.bsky.social @ox.ac.uk
