Honestly, I really like iOS 26. They fixed a lot of the bad interactions. Things like confirmation dialogs now happen where you tap. No dumb back buttons with a title that is always compressed. No “Done” button everywhere. Faster app open animations. Less wasted space on toolbars.

macOS 15, although inconsistent and somewhat flawed at times, was the closest Apple ever got to nailing the Mac UI. It was calm, focused, and got out of your way. macOS 26 throws that away for something that feels like a design student's portfolio piece: too big, too iPad, too loud, too illegible...

Idea: The hex color format #​FF69B4 can't represent wide-gamut (HDR) colors. What if we used #​RRRGGGBBB (12 bits per channel) for extended sRGB? Slight precision loss, but visually negligible. Alternatively, #​RRRRGGGGBBBB (16 bits) for full precision.
