. Yep, that's the 3rd lawsuit since 2018 in New York for wage theft. Pret already paid TWICE close to $1 million each time, repaying 1000 workers each time. In the UK etc. Pret also steal wages, delay pay, don't pay overtime, but the legal system is different here.

Pret avoided tooth & nail to label their food despite customer deaths & injuries. It took 2 customer deaths & dozens of injuries to BECOME PUBLIC before Pret started labelling. Pret were also banned from advertising their food as "natural". And I tell the piblic that "freshly made" is also a lie
