Been playing Destiny Rising for the last week. Holy crap that game has got me by the short hairs. It is far better than it has any right to be. Good thing Borderlands 4 is coming out next week to snap me out of it!

We just dropped The Boy off at middle school for the first time. So many mixed feelings, but ultimately so proud of the little man he’s becoming. 🥹

My favorite gaming choice in recent memory was naming my character “Fucker” in Pokemon Arceus. It’s legitimately the gift that keeps on giving. Chuckle after chuckle, it never gets old. 🤣 …and yes, I am 10 years old. #DontTellMyWife

Current Project: RetroDeck on my Steam Deck has completely changed the way I look at mobile emulation. It’s mind-boggling to be able to play literally every platform that has existed, up through PS3. (Note: These are just the platforms I’m using. So many others are supported 😁)

I just unlocked a new achievement in Mercinaries 2 for 360. The last time I unlocked an achievement in this particular game? 2009 😳

I know I used to bitch about this on the podcast, but seriously, trying to keep Diablo IV updated on a Steamdeck is a fool’s task. Every session I’ve played in the last year featured a hourlong, mandatory update preamble. Yeah, it’s kinda the worst. 🤬

This weekend The Boy finally got to try Goldeneye on original N64 hardware. It was a religious experience for him. 🤣
