Most people start new things at the beginning of the year, but that's booorring. It's that or the fact I don't like to do things like most people. Anyways, I've set a new project for myself and the goal is to do something new and out of my comfort zone

They always say "it's the little things in life that make you happy" and this is certainly a prime example: many printed parts on a Voron contain faces, this one has a cutesy lil smile For those curious: it's an extender for the clicky probe because the new hotend I ordered is longer than stock

I have rediscovered my love for 3D printing and now I have a little desk buddy because why not when printer goes brrrrrr (model is from makerworld.com/en/models/19...)

I have partaken in the democratic duties of voting day: trying to fold the voting paper back up correctly, not being able to and then just mumbling 'fuck it' while folding it incorrectly but good enough to submit it. Now let's just hope the results will be good

The mental health has taken a good amount of hits lately, so I did what any good, sane and free-willed person with disposable income would do: buy shiny little dopamine bricks

I was invited to join a party for the 30th anniversary of PlayStation over at Guerilla Games, and my god, it was almost a childhood dream come true, thanks @naomiiiplays.bsky.social The vibes and environment there almost, almost makes me want to switch tracks and learn game dev (who knows?)

Is this a sign I'm getting old? A while ago I bought a new roll of trash bags but I got the wrong size, and I've finally used those all up which means I can start using the correctly sized ones again and that is kind of exciting to me

I had a random thought pop into my head ago just before I picked up my phone that I thought would be a funny thing to share. As it happened, the idea was instantly gone when I unlocked the phone. To compensate, have a picture of my new wall decoration I hung up yesterday

Had a great (and also very frustrating) time playing Silksong this weekend. I did manage to see the credits roll late yesterday evening, but there's so muuuuuch more to see in Pharloom (and my funny brain likes to 100% complete games) so definitely going back for more :)

Me: Bought Silksong without issue, together with a cat-finding game. My friends just wanting Silksong: Steam doesn't know what a shopping cart is anymore. There's fire everywhere. Little bug game did this!

That is, until I remembered that I had reinstalled OctoPrint a while back and decided to plunge into those settings. Turns out, if OctoPrint doesn't know that your printer has a toolchanger it will just default to the first filament. Lesson has been learned but not after some good time wasting (2/2)

3D-printers are magical things, even moreso when you try multi-material. I have been trying a 2color print for a couple of days, but it would always print all in the first color. So I did what any good hobby-ist would do: troubleshoot and recalibrate for hours but nothing seemed to work. (1/2)

I really should be posting on here more often, there's no reason not to randomly spout sense or nonsense on random times on random days in the week. Who's gonna stop me? Maybe someone should in the future, but that is definitely not now :p

I had my very first, own non-race speedrun at the big stage this month, I ran Horizon Forbidden West NG+ at BSG Annual 2025. The VOD was uploaded just yesterday over at www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wu6u... I had so much fun that time that I'm doing more games in the future ^^

I've managed to get my hands on the Regalla edition of Horizon Forbidden West, the fanciest version. And hooooo boy, does this deliver. The tremortusk statue is hugeee (lego Aloy for scale), complete with amazing backdrop of one of the rebel bases. My inner fangirl is happy 😍

So, that seed turned out to be something alright. First image is after beating the Hollow Knight, the second after the Radiance fight. I did sequence break the logic a bit and found double jump early which helped a ton
