Its kind of crazy how Justice League Unlimited did a spiritual recreation of this moment. Except there Luthor succesfully convinced Brainiac to not completely overwrite his personality, and the two just end up merged into one cohesive villain that share the same mind.

District 9 is a great movie and spiritual successor to Alien Nation, but I think its one of those films that is better off as a one-and-done movie. Like it have a stellar world building but not enough to warrent sequel, as the film itself seems self contained. Though, I do want one for Chappie,
