Berylla goes down like a brick, haha, but it does have to be quite a deep snowdrift to go over her head. Min height Roe she may be, but she's still a Roe! Nightbird on the other hand can absolutely walk on top, unless it's somehow five feet all powder, and even then she'll sorta wade.

(She's a Keeper, most of her clan is dead, she needed a new name) Berylla's name was given to her by her foster mother, based on "beryl" for her eye color... but Tilly had never heard the word pronounced, so...

Oh dear gods, Berylla is no one's mentor, not to her own mind anyway lol; the idea scares the crap out of her. I think she probably regards Lyngsath as her mentor still, though, in more than just cooking. Nightbird...she had a mentor in Conservatory but I haven't really determined any details.
