I've drawn this, these are some of the things which have stuck in my mind following a 4 month USA road trip this year. There's many hours of work here, pretty much every single one is drawn from scratch, even the type. A labour of love though.

We went to the parade yesterday & I was surprised at how thin the show of military force was, the low turn out & general low energy of the crowd. A real disappointment. We got as close as you could to POTUS without a ticket, I expected the crowd to be MAGA buzzing, but it was barely a low hum.

Went to the Watergate last night for drinks, I was a bit concerned about joining the WiFi, you never know who is listening!

Drove through the Blue Ridge mountains yesterday which were spectacular. This means that (not by design as we plan the trip on the fly) we will be in Washington for the parade tomorrow. I’m actually quite intrigued, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it.
