The fact that the start of ramadan, lunar new year and pancake day all fall on the same day has sent me into a food panic.

I am not less Korean because I grew up in Denmark. I am not less Korean because I don't speak the language. Korea used adoption as a building block to become the modern country they are today. Adoptees are essential to that story. We are Korean history and identity too. 🥚

Intercountry #adoptees are part of the diaspora too. There are hundreds of thousands of us, forcefully removed from our birth countries and sold to another. Yet we are often overlooked when we talk about diaspora. 🥚
