It’s time to call out emotional manipulation. Family, Friends, Co-workers, etc… Stop it! You don’t need to do all that to ask me to help you. But the fact that you consistently engage in emotional manipulation demonstrates to me that you do not value me & now I’ve got to make a hard decision.

Just because I’ve decided that I don’t want you in my life, that means I don’t want you to eat… I do want you to win. I want you to succeed and eat. You just can’t eat with me. And “You Can Take That to the Bank!”

Love is reassuring. It is. You should NOT have to wonder or guess. If someone finds themselves in despair, questions of their partner, friend, or family member loves them, it’s time to have those hard but necessary conversations.
