Some Conservative MPs arrived drunk at the House of Commons last Thu night for the GST relief vote. They screamed, disrupted proceedings that parliamentary pages were removed from the unsafe opposition lobby. In most workplaces, showing up intoxicated is grounds 4 dismissal.

In light of Trump’s calls for tighter security measures at our border, we need to ensure our frontline workers have the tools they need to do their job. We need to hire more officers, establish a new training facility, & ensure our officers are no longer overburdened.

As I said last night, Trump's proposed tariffs will hurt workers. Today, I met with the Canadian Labour Congress representing over 3 million Canadian workers. We're going to fight like hell to protect them and their jobs. They deserve better. They deserve action.

I visited our local CUPW workers, who’ve had no choice but to strike. They often work late into the night, which means delivering mail in the dark, posing a risk to their safety, and keeping mail out of the hands that need it. I support their call to have the mail delivered earlier, it makes sense!

I am pleased to see that the Speaker granted the NDP's emergency debate on Trump’s proposed tariffs. Canadian jobs are at risk. We need all hands on deck.

This is nothing short of a full-out attack on Canadian workers. The Prime Minister is going to have to get his head out of the sand. Stand up and fight like hell. Canadian jobs are on the line.
