One of my best and worst experiences with P2W mechanics was in "Dungeon Fighter Online." I did those silly online quizzes to gain Nexon currency, to buy my character a silly flower on their head. It gave health regen. They locked a gameplay stat... behind a paywall. Only just realized that today.

Obsessing over the idea of a roguelite where you play a kobold and have to gather treasure for your dragon, actually. Like fully obsessed with the idea of the wipe mechanic being "the dragon takes your loot to make up for saving you when you 'die'"

It feels like a crime to gaming that I've hardly seen any turn-based RPGs utilize Final Fantasy X's "Swap your party members out whenever you'd like" mechanic. Like... Persona 5 kinda did? Are there really no other games that do that?

and here's the idea: nightmare gives you LESS than that minimum, and the devs expect the playerbase to break their game and find cheaty workarounds

57. Gardenscapes (Mobile game) The few mobile games I've ever played, I always liked the connect-3 clones. Problem is, I'm bad at playing them. ^^; But it has a nice freemium loop. Sometimes there'll be an event, which is a freemium game of its own. Yes, it's energy -based. :x But chill.

59. Dungeon Fighter Online As a poor college student, free-to-play games were all I could do. I never liked playing outside of my family. But I played the Crusader. A healer with a frighteningly small combo pool for a fighting game. ... I'm no good at fighting games. ^^; But soloing was fun.

I'm never a fan of zombie dreams. Last night, I had to deal with a bunch of survivors getting infected, running away since I cut myself and they were following my blood, and getting bit by fish because the water was too dangerous to escape on. @-@ Why they gotta be so life-or-death?

60. Bee Simulator (Roblox) Huh. Surprised this is here. Well, it was a fun mix of idle and tycoon game. Sometimes you had to kite monsters to collect honey. And it was all part of one map, with leveling gates for higher pollen. Oh, maybe because it was cute? ^^;;;

over and over again computer and game companies are constantly like what if you could put your whole body in a game and use your whole body as a controller and every time people r like idk id rather just use like a mouse or controller

61. Splatoon 3 Salmon Run is pretty cool. Frustrating, but cool. Oh, and a single player story mode with collectibles is pretty neat. The DLC was fun, too. Wait, what do you mean there's a PvP shooter in my fashion simulator?

The more I play TF2 Classified, the more I realize the biggest things I miss about old shooters is custom servers, and staying in the same lobby once a match is over. I spent a good 4 hours in the same server just shooting the shit with strangers. I haven't felt this in a multilayer game in years.
