Now that I started to draw my photos, I started taking different pictures. I am taking pictures of things that made me happy. A stack of blinis, made from my great-aunt's recipe. A book that I accidentally discovered that is so weird and funny. A secret compartment in the wall in a supermarket.

Decided to illustrate Rootabaga Pigeons by Carl Sandburg as a personal project... Some projects flow, some projects feel like i am walking in a sandstorm trying to feel my way around, but my eyes and my ears and my sandals are full of sand. I have a lot more frustrated drawings in my sketchbook.
