Tips for propagating oaks: Find oaks growing acorns in summer. Start picking in fall as soon as a gentle twist removes the acorn from its cap. Don’t collect from the ground. Put the acorns in water for a float test. Healthy ones will sink. Discard the floaters. More tips tomorrow. #oaks #trees
