Last year, a viewer was under the assumption that I'd used genAI in one of my artworks. Given the clean shading and rather awkward layout of the architecture, one might assume that, but no, I do not use genAI or LLMs in my works. Truth is, I'm just very unpracticed with backgrounds. See alt-text!

I've finally started cataloguing my massive collection of furry books (artbooks, folios, novels, etc.). I'm not kidding, there's OVER TWO DECADES worth of stuff here. You'd think it's because I'm a librarian, but it's mainly to know what I've already bought so I don't accidentally re-buy XD #Furry

The river otter reminds me a lot of myself. I've always seen them as these playful, fun-loving creatures that, while smart, are more prone to use those smarts for goofiness. Plus, I grew up on the coast and near pools and I LOVE water. And also they're native to my region. #Furry

This simple drawing is still one of the most shared images I’ve made. Reo Grayfox was telling me his story, and said those lines staring straight into his fursuit's eyes. Hearing personal stories like this makes you appreciate the vastly diverse reasons why the furry fandom is essential to so many.

Back when I sold prints at conventions, I had one patron stop by and not only give me twice the listed price for some of my prints they bought, but also went on to tell me I was undercharging WAY too much for how good the art was.

There's a pair of ducks preening each other just outside my window next to my workstation. Like, less than two feet away. I'm pretty sure one of them sees me, but apparently they don't seem alarmed. ...and now one of them is snoozing ^_^

We've seen numerous calls to reach out to your elected reps in Congress lately, and for good reason! I understand how intimidating it can be. Me being an introvert, it absolutely is, but I still did it. Representatives RESPOND to calls, even if they don't respond directly back to you. It matters.
