The Latino Equity Fund at TBF is accepting applications! For the FY26 grant cycle, LEF will award one-time $25,000 grants to 20 Latinx-serving nonprofit organizations within TBF's catchment area. The deadline to apply is November 3, 2025 at 11:59 PM. Learn more & apply here: bit.ly/3W9LpV3

To support communities & provide stability to food systems, TBF will provide $900,000 to 9 organizations that advocate for, supply, distribute, and deliver vital food supplies across Eastern MA, funded with $500,000 from TBF's Fund for Boston’s Future and supplemented by donor contributions.

In Greater Boston alone, tens of thousands of residents now stand one paperwork error or missed shift away from losing some or all of their basic food assistance.

We're putting what Boston needs first. Among other initiatives to meet the moment, TBF is pledging $1 million to the Greater Boston Food Bank and an additional $500,000 to other orgs.

As recent federal actions to cut funding and limit access to SNAP benefits threaten families with food insecurity and push our food distribution system to the brink of failure, at this pivotal moment TBF is committing $1.5 million in grants to the Greater Boston Food Bank and regional food orgs.

500+ nonprofit leaders from across MA responded to the MA Nonprofits Federal Impacts Survey, a partnership between TBF, @massnonprofitnet.bsky.social, and @massincpolling.bsky.social to capture perceptions of the new administration's impact on their orgs and the vulnerable communities they serve.

Apply now: TBF's Safety Net Grants Special Round! TBF is launching a $2 million SNG special round to be awarded this spring, providing general operating support for Greater Boston social service organizations that respond to the essential needs of marginalized communities and vulnerable residents.

As we launched a special round of Safety Net Grants to meet the current crises facing many nonprofits, we also announced the 20 grantees from our fall 2024 application cycle. These MA orgs are each receiving $50,000 in general operating support over two years to meet the needs of their communities.

As the Palisades and Eaton Canyon fires have caused destruction in Southern California, including mass evacuations, thousands of homes lost, and tragic fatalities, community foundations in the area are quickly taking steps to support their residents in the wake of this devastation.
