I think it's nice how we humans take care of animals around us, who we've never met before. Makes me feel good about humanity.

I've noticed that every year, around this time, DevOps and Ops tools begin trending on GitHub and there are a lot of posts about them on my timeline. It's just a general observation, but I wonder if there is an index that tracks this, and if there might be historical data I could access.

#math I think with a rectangle and it's cuboid, the increase in dimension is harder to understand. In this picture, it's not apparent which of the sides of the rectangle is increasing in height. We must instead visualize ALL the sides increasing in height along a direction.

I feel like, with indie blogs on the rise again, there will be more of this in the future. Better paths forged by reading about what came before and trying to do better.

I feel like it has made the world a better place. One where we all know what dangers and opportunities lie ahead on the road, because people who walked it first described everything in detail.

One thing I would say is new and interesting in the 2020s is how open people are about their struggles.

#math Interestingly, even when a cylinder is closed off, such as this mug I drew with my fingers, there still remains one aperture. I think we can more clearly see and understand the concept of "circumference increasing in height" to form a cylinder.

I think the next iteration of light bulbs will be user programmable. And not through voice or code, necessarily. But through more reliable means.

I think it's very interesting that a cylinder has one aperture alone. I've always tried to think of height of the cylinder as the height of the hole itself.

Watching a WWDC recap and I think it's just so interesting that several updates to iPadOS's UI and UX are ports from MacOS. It's very much a reversal of the trend of desktop OSs morphing into mobile OSs. As a desktop fan, I like it.
