For people who want to see a screen reader in action, it can be helpful to start with this demo from Hadi Rangin of the University of Washington's IT Accessibility Team. Among the things Rangin discusses are ARIA landmarks, headings, and text content.

Watching a WWDC recap and I think it's just so interesting that several updates to iPadOS's UI and UX are ports from MacOS. It's very much a reversal of the trend of desktop OSs morphing into mobile OSs. As a desktop fan, I like it.

What book do you think every engineer should read? I'd say Atomic Accidents -- a fun read and fundamentally about how/why things fail. If you want to build things which don't fail, you need to recognize how things do (and how often it's about people).

There's this thing a lot of New Yorkers who should know better do where they treat the New York Post as a fun trashy tabloid that's hilarious to read instead of a fascist disinformation outlet. It's full of lies! And the goal of the lies is to convince people to support RW politics!
