I didn't have any lino so I used foam board. I was going for the Henri Matisse style of block printing. Sort of worked.

Been practising different styles today. Very pleased with this interpretation of The Wave. Not bad for a fifteen minute sketch I think.

I'm in the planning phase of the next collection, including the next zine issue. I've also decided to make the zine much longer, it's currently 8 pages long but I've been told it needs to be longer! Sooooo, longer story and lots of other titbits it is then!

Four years ago I drew what would become my first ever zine, the adventures of Derek and Irene. I am still very proud of the drawings I did as it was the start of the shenanigans that these two get up to. That front cover is some of my best work. 🤌

I unfollowed a big account on IG because they advocated (and were paid) the us eif AI to create portraits of their dog. And defended it because they believed it was a suitable way to use AI. They usually supported artists. USE THE ARTISTS.

There's this trend going on that is an artists starter pack and I can't draw people so have the dinosaurs instead.
